This NP261HD remanufactured transfer case is a direct replacement unit which fits 1999-2007 GM trucks with RPO code NP2. This is the manual shift unit for GM trucks with 6.0L engines. It has a 32 spline input shaft that mates with the 4L80 Transmission. This remanufactured replacement is constructed to match or surpass original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards. Moreover, all of our units will come with a newly enhanced, upgraded aluminum rear case half to address the widespread “pump rub” issue commonly found in 261 transfer cases.
This 261HD is a completely remanufactured OEM replacement transfer case, with upgrades for longevity and reliability!

All of our remanufactured units come with an 18 month unlimited mileage replacement warranty. 36 month extended warranties are also available to purchase!
What Happens If My Unit Is Defective?
If a unit becomes defective within 18 months of purchasing, a replacement Transfer Case will be provided at no cost. In some cases, we may choose to refund the money. Transfer Case World will pay for the cost of return shipping.

Are Returns Accepted?
Certainly, you may return an item within 14 days from the date of purchase. However, returns are not permissible if the product has been fitted into a vehicle, or has been altered, modified, or damaged. Refunds issued will not cover the initial shipping fees, and the responsibility for the cost of returning the item to us, which may vary by location and carrier rates, falls on the customer.
Will there be a restocking fee?
To process a return with us, you’ll need to obtain a return authorization. Please note that a restocking fee of 10% applies to all returns. Understanding the complexities of drivetrain diagnostics is exhausting, but before making a purchase, please ensure that the issue with your vehicle is indeed due to the transfer case. If a unit has been mounted in your vehicle, it becomes non-returnable. We encourage you to thoroughly verify the need for a transfer case replacement prior to placing an order. Should you need to initiate a return, reach out to us within 14 days of receipt.
