There are two versions of this unit available (27 or 32 spline inputs) when you purchase from this listing we will send you whichever version you need for your truck based on either your vehicle’s information or the assembly # which should be located on a round tag on the rear case half of your unit. Originally produced by New Process Gear starting in 1999, the NP246 remained in use through 2007. This electric shift transfer case is commonly paired with 4L60E and 4L80E transmissions. What Happens If My Unit Is Defective?
If a unit becomes defective within 18 months of purchasing, a replacement Transfer Case will be provided at no cost. In some cases, we may choose to refund the money. Transfer Case World will pay for the cost of return shipping.

Are Returns Accepted?
Certainly, you may return an item within 14 days from the date of purchase. However, returns are not permissible if the product has been fitted into a vehicle, or has been altered, modified, or damaged. Refunds issued will not cover the initial shipping fees, and the responsibility for the cost of returning the item to us, which may vary by location and carrier rates, falls on the customer.
Will there be a restocking fee?
To process a return with us, you’ll need to obtain a return authorization. Please note that a restocking fee of 10% applies to all returns. Understanding the complexities of drivetrain diagnostics is exhausting, but before making a purchase, please ensure that the issue with your vehicle is indeed due to the transfer case. If a unit has been mounted in your vehicle, it becomes non-returnable. We encourage you to thoroughly verify the need for a transfer case replacement prior to placing an order. Should you need to initiate a return, reach out to us within 14 days of receipt.
